Springdale Police Investigate Armed Robbery of Hotel
A man robbed the Cambridge Plaza hotel at gunpoint around 9:30 p.m. Monday.

The Springdale Police Department is asking for the community'sΒ help identifying a man who robbed the Cambridge Plaza hotel at gunpoint Monday.Β
Around 9:30 p.m., the man entered the lobby of the hotel, located at 650 Cherokee Lane in Springdale, with a pistol and demanded money from the cash register,Β Springdale Police Chief Kevin Cornett said.
The man was wearing a red jacket with a hood, a white stocking cap with eye holes cut out over his face and blue jeans, Cornett said. He fled the hotel with an undisclosed amount of money.

Witnesses said the man may have been traveling in a light-colored vehicle and that he may have had a slight limp when he walked.Β
