The Springdale Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect that robbed the Cambridge Plaza hotel at gunpoint Monday. Police say that around 1:15 p.m., the man entered the lobby of the hotel, located at 650 Cherokee Lane, carrying a pistol and demanded money from the cash register.  He was described as a black male with long dreadlocks who was wearing a dark sweater with a hood, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.  He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. Witnesses told police he was driving a light-colored vehicle, possibly a silver Dodge Stratus. The vehicle has a black driver-side door and black rims with no hubcaps. Anyone with information should call the Springdale Police Department at 803-796-3160 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. The Cambridge Plaza was also robbed in October.
