Springdale Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect
A man robbed the Cambridge Plaza hotel at gunpoint around 1:15 p.m. Monday.

The Springdale Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect that robbed the Cambridge Plaza hotel at gunpoint Monday.
Police say that around 1:15 p.m., the man entered the lobby of the hotel, located at 650 Cherokee Lane, carrying a pistol and demanded money from the cash register.Â
He was described as a black male with long dreadlocks who was wearing a dark sweater with a hood, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.Â

He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. Witnesses told police he was driving a light-colored vehicle, possibly a silver Dodge Stratus. The vehicle has a black driver-side door and black rims with no hubcaps.
