Two Memorials Planned to Honor Anderson Estep
19-year-old Anderson Todd Estep went missing Friday while surfing at North Myrtle Beach.

A 19-year-old Lexington native who went missing while surfing in North Myrtle Beach last week will be honored during two memorials this week.Â
A service to celebrate Anderson Todd Estep's life will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church, according to a post on Twitter.Â
Fellow surfers will remember Estep with a paddle out at the Cherry Grove Pier Thursday evening, according to a report from myrtlebeachonline.com. Estep was surfing near the pier Friday in waves from Tropical Storm Andrea when he went missing.Â

Rescue crews started searching for Estep around 1 p.m. Friday after his board washed ashore but he couldn't be found, according to myrtlebeachonline.com. The search was called off around 8 p.m.
The Horry County Coroner says Estep has not been declared dead, according to the report.
