West Columbia Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

Police are looking for a 21-year-old Columbia man in connection with an armed robbery at a West Columbia apartment complex.

Patrick Calvin Washington presented a knife to the victim during an armed robbery at Gentle Pines Apartments on June 9, according to the West Columbia Police Department. He then fled the scene.

Police say Washington is also wanted in connection with a series of thefts and auto break-ins in the West Columbia area.

Washington is believed to be armed and dangerous, police say. His last known address is 3012 Haverford Circle in Columbia.
