White Knoll High Student Completes Senior Project at SC Aquarium
Erica Dickinson got an inside look at what it's like to work at the aquarium.

White Knoll High student Erica Dickinson recently traveled to Charleston to job shadow at the South Carolina Aquarium.
Dickinson spent a day at the aquarium where she experienced behind-the-scenes responsibilities of employees and volunteers. She visited the sea turtle hospital, observed the feeding and cleaning routines and learned about the aquarium’s role in caring for sick and injured species.
The South Carolina Aquarium inspires conservation of the natural world by exhibiting and caring for animals, by excelling in education and research and by providing an exceptional visitor experience. It is home to multiple species of fish, invertebrates, reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals and plants.
