BBQ Teams Needed for Southern Flame Festival

Have the best barbecue in town? Let everyone know during this month's Southern Flame Southern Food and Music Festival at the Ponds.

The festival is seeking teams for the barbecue competition, which will be judged by the Southern BBQ Network. Teams must register by Saturday, April 13.

Team entries cost $225 for pork butts and $100 for ribs in the competitors' division, and $75 for pork butts in the "backyard" division. Cash prizes are available. Entry Form.

The festival is 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, April 27.

Not competing? Eddie Bush and The Mayhem will headline the all-day festival that benefits the Summerville Miracle League. Parking is $8 if you pay ahead of time (click here) or $10 day of.
