Be a Tourist in Your Own Town! Trolley Tours Offered on Friday

Trolley tours around Summerville continue this Friday. 

Times are 9 a.m., 11a.m. and 1 p.m. departing from the Summerville Visitors Center. Trolley tours are on the third Friday of the month, following Third Thursday events.

The tour takes riders down the Sweet Tea Trail in Historic Summerville, the Birthplace of Sweet Tea. This 1.5-hour guided tour where you'll see the preserved downtown and historic homes. 

Tour starts in the Visitor Center with a history film from 1939. Summerville's very own local historian will give a guided tour on the trolley with a stop at the historic Linwood Gardens. In case of rain Linwood owner will board the trolley and give oral tour.
