Inaugural Summer Safety Festival

The first-ever Summer Safety Festival is a collaborative effort between Dorchester County EMS, Trident Safe Kids, MUSC Health, SC Safe Routes To Schools, and Chain Reaction bicycle shop.  

Cullum Constructors providing financial support as a sponsor and other agencies are coming on board daily.  

The focus of the event will be on Children's Summer Safety topics with a huge emphasis on Safe Bicycle Riding.  

A Bicycle Rodeo will be the main focus of the event and Dorchester County EMS will be giving away free bicycle helmets while supplies last. Children must be registered here: http://summersafetyfestival.eventbrite.com/  

Other displays and information on a wide range of pediatric injury prevention topics will also be available.  

Free face painting, jump castles, a climbing wall, and other entertainment.
