Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber Of Commerce: Dorchester Habitat Opens Application Session For September 30
Upon completion of a DHH home the future homeowner will purchase a 30 year interest-free mortgage.

Dorchester Habitat for Humanity (DHH) is holding an open application session for those interested in owning a home who live or work in Dorchester County.

Interested applicants must meet income requirements posted below and be willing to partner with DHH to help build their home through sweat equity hours, work to have a good credit history, and pay a $2,500 down payment. Upon completion of a DHH home the future homeowner will purchase a 30 year interest-free mortgage. Most mortgages for DHH’s 3-4 bedroom homes are $650-$750 per month.
To qualify, gross household income must be within 35-80% of Dorchester County’s Area Median Income (AMI). Applications can be downloaded from the organization’s website and must be submitted in person at the ReStore Warehouse at 101 Greyback Road, applications cannot be submitted digitally.
