Muskets Will Fire at Colonial Dorchester for Saturday Event
Admission is $2 for Revolutionary War program.

Archaeologists digging up history, guided tours of a 250-year-old fort, and Revolutionary War-era muskets being fired - these are just some of the things you will experience during Colonial Dorchester: Under the Crescent Saturday, Sept. 14.
The public is invited to a Revolutionary War program at Colonial Dorchester State Historic Site in Summerville. Watch members of the 2nd South Carolina Regiment re-create the experience of South Carolina’s Continental soldiers. Due to the musket firing, visitors are encouraged to leave pets at home.
Events are scheduled Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is a fee of $2 for ages 15 and up, $1.25 for S.C. Seniors, and free for children under 14.Â
