Robber Says 'Sorry' During Walgreens Incident
Suspect allegedly tells pharmacist 'I'm sorry to have to do this to you' as he demands oxycodone and oxymorphone.
A slightly apologetic robber hit Walgreens pharmacy on North Main Street Tuesday night.Â
The robber made off with about 70 pills in total of varying strengths of oxycodone and oxymorphone, both powerful prescription narcotics.Â
The robber allegedly went to the bathroom at the store prior to the robbery. When he left the bathroom a few minutes later, he approached the pharmacy counter.Â

"I'm sorry to have to do this to you but you have two minutes to give me Opana (oxymorphone) and oxycodone," the robber allegedly told the pharmacist. The robber then counted out the two minutes verbally. After receiving the drugs, the robber said he was "real sorry" and left the building, according to the pharmacist.Â
The suspect is described as a light-skinned black man or a dark-skinned white man. He was wearing a black Planet Fitness shirt and dark shorts with white stripes at the time of the robbery. He is about 5-foot, 8-inches in height, and 180 pounds.Â

The suspect was last seen walking past Famulari's Pizza toward Sheep Island Road.Â
