Seven Summerville Artists Featured in Artfields

Seven Summerville artists are vying for top awards at a Lake City art festival April 19-28 — and you can help. 

During the Artfields festival, artwork from around the state will be on display and the public can vote on the best artwork during the event. The Summerville artists are: Wade Edwards, Helen Beacham, Karen DeLoach, Patricia Fast, Monnie Johnson, Lex Melfi, and Karen Silvestro.

Winners of the People's Choice prize wins $25,000. The winner of the People's Choice is also a factor in the top $50,000 prize.

This 10-day epic Southern artfest will feature a wide variety of art events, including an art competition, workshops, lectures, talks, public artand more. Most events are free, and ticketed experiences start at $5.
