Suspects at Large After Robynwyn Shooting
Man shot in abdomen during alleged home invasion.

Summerville Police came up empty handed during a search for suspects wanted in connection to a man found shot on Myrtle Place Wednesday morning.Â
The suspects were described as all male, wearing either dark clothing or camouflage. Witnesses say it was either two or four suspects seen leaving the Robynwyn home off of Shamrock Drive. Â
The unidentified, injured man was allegedly shot in his abdomen during a home invasion. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.Â

The event happened around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and sparked a "soft" lockdown of nearby Alston Middle School. A soft lockdown means classes resumed as normal, but students were not allowed outside for 90 minutes, according to Dorchester County School District Two spokeswoman Pat Raynor.Â
Summerville authorities combed the nearby area in a manhunt for suspects, but by the afternoon, police activity had subsided from the neighborhood.Â
