Teacher Arrested for Drug Distribution Near School
Home off of College Park Road was an alleged meth lab.

Berkeley County Sheriff's Office Drug Enforcement Unit has made two arrests in a suspected methamphetamine lab on College Park Road.
The arrests were made April 17, and included Summerville Elementary School fourth grade teacher Terri Wooten, 49. Wooten has been charged with trafficking meth, distribution near a school, possession of a schedule IV narcotic and possession of LSD.
Principal Lori Dribble told the publication Wooten was placed on administrative leave with pay, according to the Post and Courier.

During the search of the home at 1024 Douglas Wayne Road, agents located the components to manufacture methamphetamine along with approximately 14 gross grams of a white powder substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, approximately 2.3 gross grams of marijuana, 12 dosage units of LSD and 46 Xanax pills.
Wooten was charged along with David Eugene Cauthen, 37, who faces the same charges with an additional charge of manufacturing meth.
