• Business owners on snowy weather & holiday shopping (keloland.com) — Sioux Falls shop owners say back-to-back snowy weekends are cutting into crucial holiday sales, especially for small boutiques that rely on December for a big share of annual revenue. They’re urging residents to keep dollars local by shopping in person when possible or using their online stores if weather keeps people home. 
• Jackley may fine gas stations for abortion pill ads (keloland.com) — From Sioux Falls, the state’s attorney general is warning a New York-based abortion information group and South Dakota gas station owners that they could face civil fines or even felony charges over abortion pill ads. The dispute centers on whether the signs misrepresent South Dakota law and women’s health risks, with Mayday Health and the ACLU defending the ads as lawful speech.
