• Historic Arrowhead House now open for rent, nature programming (argusleader.com) — You can now rent the renovated Arrowhead House in Sioux Falls’ Arrowhead Park for everything from family parties to corporate meetings, complete with a full kitchen and views of the quarry pond. The city also plans year-round nature programming there, including bird-watching, yoga on the deck, and kids’ activities in partnership with the neighboring Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum. Reservations are already rolling in for 2026.

• South Dakota outpaces neighbors in fatal prison overdoses (siouxfallslive.com) — Sioux Falls prison facilities have halted in-person visits and tightened mail rules as South Dakota leads the region in suspected K2-related overdose deaths behind bars. Local and state officials describe growing concerns about drugs entering the state penitentiary and Minnehaha County jail, new body scanners on order, and potential tougher penalties for staff or inmates tied to fatal overdoses.
• Isaac Bruns leads USD past Mount Marty in men's hoops (dakotanewsnow.com) — Sioux Falls hoops fans saw a strong performance as USD wrapped up nonconference play with an 85-61 win over Mount Marty, led by Isaac Bruns’ 23 points. The Coyotes pulled away after a tight start and now head into Summit League play with momentum, opening on the road Wednesday against North Dakota State.
