- The Tennessee Aquarium has welcomed three new short-tail nurse sharks. The critically endangered hatchlings were produced from eggs laid by a breeding trio. They were born on Jul. 7. The Tennessee Aquarium has the largest public institution breeding group of short-tail nurse sharks in North America. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
- The Music and Movie Series in Miller Park continues with a screening of "Encanto" on Jul. 23. The event features food trucks, art vendors, games, and music. The remaining films in the series will be "Inside Out" and "Sonic the Hedgehog." Don't forget a blanket or lawn chair. (Chattanooga Pulse)
- The Tennessee College of Applied Technology open house will be today, Jul. 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event will include music, free college items, games, prizes, and more.
