Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga:

1. A Chattanooga area cave has been gated by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency to preserve its bat population. The agency is concerned that human visitors are waking up the endangered bat species during its winter hibernation. If the bats wake up when there is not enough food, the bats could die.
