  1. A 20-year veteran of the Chattanooga Fire Department is waiting for a heart transplant. Lieutenant Darrell Hinton, Jr. is currently being treated at Vanderbilt Medical Center. A Go Fund Me page was started to help raise funds to cover expenses for Hinton and his family. (The Chattanoogan)
  2. Non-profit organization La Paz Chattanooga added five new team members to their staff to help with increased demand. The organization works with Chattanooga's Latino population to give them access to various services. (The Chattanoogan)
  3. A man and woman were shot in Chattanooga early Tuesday. Both victims were taken to the hospital. As a result of treatment for the victims, Blood Assurance reported depleting their O-negative blood supply and asked any O-negative blood donors to donate. (WTVC)
