  1. Chattanooga is bracing for a bitterly cold, snowy Christmas. Rain is expected to begin on Thursday afternoon, which will turn into snow by Friday morning. Thursday will be bitterly cold, going from 17 degrees on Thursday night to a teeth-chattering nine degrees on Friday evening. By Christmas Eve, the temperatures will be well and consistently below freezing. Bundle up, Chattanooga! (The Chattanoogan)
  2. A man has been hospitalized and is in critical condition after being struck by a car on Friday night. The incident happened at the 800 block of East 3rd street around 10:00 p.m. The man was found lying in the street with severe injuries. The driver did not stop, and fled the scene. Police are asking anyone who might have information to come forward. (WDEF News 12)
  3. Community leaders from Chattanooga hosted a job fair recently to help teens and young adults find jobs during the holiday break. Held at the American Job Center, the primary goal of the event was to help kids stay safe and away from violence during the holiday break. The job fair offered part-time jobs – some with the opportunity to develop into full-blown careers in a myriad of fields. (MyFox Chattanooga)
