Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga:

  1. Chattanooga gas prices have hit a new record. The average price of a gallon of fuel in Chattanooga is now averaging $4.55 — 15.8 cents higher than a week ago. Gas in Chattanooga is still lower than the national average of $5.01 per gallon. (Chattanooga Pulse)
  2. A Chattanooga Police Department chase ended with several vehicles hit. The department engaged in the pursuit after a man failed to stop for an officer. The incident occurred Saturday night on Tunnel Boulevard and Germantown Road. David Keith Walker has been charged with numerous charges including four counts of parole violation, speeding, and vehicular assault. (News Channel 9)
  3. A Chattanooga man has been indicted for the overdose death of a 46-year-old woman. Kenneth Hunter Rogers, 25, has been charged with criminally negligent homicide and tampering with evidence. He was arrested on Friday by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. (WTVC)
