Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga:

  1. Slim + Husky's Pizza will be having its grand opening event on Jun. 23. The nation's largest Black-owned pizza chain will be opening its 10th Chattanooga location at 401 E. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. The location will have a full-service bar, a live performance stage, and a late-night window for patrons to enjoy. (The Chattanoogan)
  2. A new report by the Hamilton County School Board shows that racially-motivated bullying has increased. The rate of bullying based on race, color, or nationality has more than doubled in the county since the COVID-19 pandemic began. This past year, there were 16 cases of racially motivated bullying in the district. (WTVC)
  3. This Friday's Nightfall concert is showcasing two local bands. Opposite Box and The Original FBI will be performing at Miller Park for the free concert series. Opposite Box performs at 7:00 p.m. The Original FBI will perform at 8:25 p.m. (Chattanooga Pulse)
