  1. Officials are warning citizens that there have been numerous mail thefts throughout Hamilton County. This is most commonly happening in large subdivisions and usually involve packages or mail that have been left in local's mailboxes overnight. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office warns that these thefts can occur throughout the night, and the remain alert. If you've experienced the theft of your mail, please contact the authorities.   2. Chattanooga was dealing with significant flight delays after a computer outage brought air traffic to a halt. On Wednesday, the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed the system it uses to track pilots taking off was suffering from an outage. Although service resumed by 9:00 a.m., 4,300 flights had already been delayed and another 800 canceled. In Chattanooga, a half dozen flights were delayed, and another two were canceled. The President is asking the Department of Transportation to investigate the incident. (WDEF News 12)
  3. The biggest movie screen in Chattanooga is about to go wild – literally. The documentary "Serengeti" debuts in IMAX 3D on Jan. 13. The remarkable film provides an in-depth and never-before-seen look at the majestic animals and beautiful wildlife who call the Serengeti home. Filmmaker Dalton-Smith will appear for a special screening and Q&A session on Jan. 17. (The Pulse)
