  1. The Tennessee Department of Corrections is asking for the community's help in locating two women who absconded from the Chattanooga Release Center on Friday night. Katelyn Standifer, 26 years old, and Ashley Wardlaw, 36 years old, were to be scheduled for release in 2023. Anyone with information about the two individuals is asked to contact the Tennessee Department of Corrections or the Chattanooga Police Department. (WDEF News 12)
  2. Chattanooga's Lovell Field Airport officials report that nonstop flights to New York City will return when business traffic returns. Many nonstop flights were cut during the COVID-19 pandemic but only New York City nonstop flights are yet to return. Currently, boardings are about at about 80 percent compared to pre-pandemic levels. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
  3. Chattanooga Solidarity Coalition held a pro-choice rally in Miller Park on Saturday. The rally brought protestors together to demand a reversal of the Roe v. Wade overturn by the Supreme Court. The Chattanooga Solidarity Coalition is a grassroots organization based in Chattanooga that provides support to the unhoused community, including abortion funds. (WTVC)
