- Prefer college football to a New Year's Eve celebration? You're in luck: Five Wits Brewing Company on Long Street is hosting a Peach Bowl watch party tomorrow, Dec. 31. Fans will gather to watch Georgia face off against Ohio State. The event begins at 8:00 p.m. (WDEF News 12)
- Officials have released the identity of the suspect that was shot dead by Chattanooga police on Thursday. Damean Jones, 26, was killed while trying to evade police in a stolen vehicle. Jones reportedly open fired at a deputy, which prompted a police chase that ended on Martin Luther King Boulevard near Lindsay Street and Georgia Avenue. The deputy who was shot was "not seriously injured," said officials. (WTVC)
