1. Prefer college football to a New Year's Eve celebration? You're in luck: Five Wits Brewing Company on Long Street is hosting a Peach Bowl watch party tomorrow, Dec. 31. Fans will gather to watch Georgia face off against Ohio State. The event begins at 8:00 p.m. (WDEF News 12)
2. Officials have released the identity of the suspect that was shot dead by Chattanooga police on Thursday. Damean Jones, 26, was killed while trying to evade police in a stolen vehicle. Jones reportedly open fired at a deputy, which prompted a police chase that ended on Martin Luther King Boulevard near Lindsay Street and Georgia Avenue. The deputy who was shot was "not seriously injured," said officials. (WTVC)
3. Meet some truly extraordinary avians right here in Chattanooga. Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center is hosting Vulture Adventures — a rare chance to see some stunning birds.
