Here are the top three stories in Chattanooga today:

  1. The Riverfront Nights concert series is continuing this Saturday night. The weekly concert series will be from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Ross's Landing on Riverfront Parkway. The Claudettes will be headlining the concert with local blues artist Rick Rushing opening. Concert admission is free. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
  2. The Chattanooga Police Department is currently investigating an East Chattanooga shooting. The incident occurred on Tuesday night in the 2900 block of Taylor Street. The driver of a vehicle opened fire on a group of individuals standing on the street. A juvenile victim is currently in stable condition at a local hospital. (WDEF News 12)
  3. Chattanooga Mayor Kelly's Administration released its Roadmap to End Gun Violence in Chattanooga during a press conference on Thursday. The plan includes a series of community engagement sessions to finalize the plan through input and community coordination. According to Mayor Kelly, gun violence has become an epidemic in Chattanooga. (The Chattanoogan)
