Here are the top three stories in Chattanooga today:

  1. The Chattanooga Rotary Club has begun its new year with 36 new members while supporting local non-profits. The organization is the area's oldest and largest civic club. The Chattanooga Rotary Club, founded in 1914 by a group of 24 businessmen, now boasts 350 members. (The Chattanoogan)
  2. Gas prices continue to fall in the Chattanooga area. The national average for a gallon of gas is currently $4.66. The average price per gallon in Chattanooga is currently at $4.11. This time last year, gasoline was averaging $2.80 a gallon in Chattanooga. It is not currently clear if the downward trend in gas prices will continue. (Chattanooga Pulse)
