Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga:

  1. The Times Free Press is highlighting four of the most influential leaders from Chattanooga's sports community for Black History Month. The four leaders that were spotlighted were Henry Bowles, Carolyn Jackson, Jay Price, and Robert High. These icons in the community have cemented their legacy far past their athletic success in the molding of the generations moving forward. (Subscription: Chattanooga Times Free Press)
  2. The Signal Mountain Police and Fire Department currently searching for a missing man in nearby Signal Mountain. Mike Casey, 68, was last seen at 7:15 p.m. wearing a navy winter coat and a knit cap reading "BUFFS." Casey suffers from dementia. If anyone has any information or locates Casey, please contact Signal Mountain Police or call 886-2123. (WTVC)
  3. On Saturday afternoon, the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a person shot by his ex-girlfriend on the 500 block of Fisher Avenue. Police located the man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, and he was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police were told an altercation ensued between the former couple, which led to the shooting, and officials are currently working on gathering more information. (MyFox Chattanooga)
