• What's Right With Our Schools, Silverdale Academy Fills Stockings for the Salvation Army (wdef.com) — Students at Chattanooga’s Silverdale Baptist Academy are filling 160 Christmas stockings for local senior citizens through a long-running partnership with the Salvation Army. First and third graders collect practical gifts and learn empathy, faith-driven service, and community responsibility while helping meet a growing need among older adults in the Chattanooga area.
   

• Diana O. Williams (chattanoogan.com) — Chattanooga readers are invited to remember the life of Diana O. Williams, born here in 1951 and recently honored with a private celebration at John P. Franklin Funeral Home. Loved for her warmth and kindness, she is survived by siblings, daughters, many nieces and nephews, and a grandson who will carry on her memory.
   

• Economic Outlook Shows Slower Growth (wdef.com) — From Chattanooga, economists say Tennessee’s economy should keep growing into 2026, but more slowly than in the last few years. A new UT Boyd Center report warns that cooling job growth, affordability pressures, immigration-related labor shifts, and federal trade policies could leave both Chattanooga and the rest of the state more vulnerable to future economic shocks.
