• Franklin Fire Department orders closure of two hotels due to safety concerns (wrtv.com) — Two Franklin hotels, the Relax Inn and Econo Lodge, have been shut down by the Franklin Fire Department after inspections found their fire alarm systems were not working, creating serious safety risks. Officials say owners declined interim safety options, so the properties must stay closed until alarms are fully repaired, tested, and approved by the department.
