ETSU A Cappella Ensembles To Perform In ‘Perfect Harmony'
This annual concert, which hasn't been held since 2019 due to COVID, is scheduled for Nov. 13.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – “Perfect Harmony,” a concert that includes five pop a cappella ensembles from the East Tennessee State University Department of Music, takes place Saturday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Grand Hall of the ETSU Martin Center for the Arts.

“We have not had this annual concert since fall 2019 because of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Dr. Alan Stevens, co-director of Choral Activities. “We are excited to bring back Perfect Harmony for the first time in the Martin Center Grand Hall.”
Each of ETSU’s five pop a cappella ensembles will perform. Those groups include: Greyscale, a mixed group co-directed by Stevens and Erin Raines; Harmonium, a student-led soprano and alto group; Swashbucklers, a student-led tenor and bass group; Ascension, a student-led mixed group; and The Buc Five, a student-led barbershop ensemble.
