ETSU Health Family Medicine Bristol Welcomes Two New Physicians

Drs. Kelsey Lloyd and Elizabeth White are joining the team.

BRISTOL, Tenn. - To better serve more of the region, ETSU Health’s Family Medicine Bristol clinic has added two physicians, creating a team to provide comprehensive care for all stages of patients’ lives, and in particular, women’s services.

Dr. Andrea Hopkins, medical director, maintains a comprehensive family medicine practice that includes non-surgical obstetrics. She takes a personalized approach to patients’ health, from contraception and family planning through pregnancy, childbirth, menopause and beyond.

β€œI am excited to welcome Drs. Kelsey Lloyd and Elizabeth White to our team here in Bristol,” Hopkins said. β€œAs full-spectrum family doctors, we look forward to caring for women during their pregnancy and providing couplet care for mother and baby after delivery and throughout the stages of life.”

Lloyd is an East Tennessee native who is passionate about Appalachia. While obtaining her medical degree and later completing her residency in family medicine at ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine, Lloyd participated in the rural primary care track, cultivating her interest in providing care in small communities.

She is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support.

White enjoys forming relationships with the patients of the area. She prides herself in listening to what patients say, paying attention to how they feel and working with them to meet their health goals. She encourages asking questions and enjoys educating patients.

She completed her residency in family medicine at ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine and obtained her doctorate of osteopathic medicine from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg. She is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, and in the neonatal resuscitation program.
