Middle Tennessee State Professors To Perform In Recital At ETSU

The Oct. 14 event is free and open to the public.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The East Tennessee State University Department of Music will present a guest artist recital featuring Dr. Todd Waldecker, clarinet, and Dr. Adam Clark, piano, on Thursday, Oct. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Powell Recital Hall of the Martin Center for the Arts.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Waldecker and Dr. Clark, both of whom are visiting us from Middle Tennessee State University,” said Dr. Lisa Perry, assistant professor of clarinet in the ETSU Department of Music. “The program will feature music from the ballet ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and the film ‘The Terminal,’ as well as music by Gershwin.”

Waldecker will also present a master class on campus for ETSU music students the same day at 4 p.m. in the Bud Frank Theatre, Gilbreath Hall.

The evening recital is free and open to the public. The Martin Center for the Arts is located at 1320 W. State of Franklin Road, Johnson City.
