The Washington County Health Department has expanded its hours for coronavirus PCR testing and self-test kits.

The Washington County Health Department has expanded its hours for COVID-19 PCR testing and self-test kits.

COVID-19 PCR testing is done by a nurse or medic with a nasal swab. People remain in their vehicle and drive through the test line.Drive-through testing is available from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Test results may be available within 72 hours, depending on the volume of tests that the testing lab receives.
Self-testing kits are available for pick-up at the health department Monday through Friday between 8:30 am-4:00 pm. People using self-test kits need to be 18 years or older, have a smart phone and e-mail address.

The Washington County Health Department is at 219 Princeton Road in Johnson City. Look for signs along Princeton that will direct you to join the line on College Road to facilitate traffic flow. For more information, please call the Health Department at (423) 975-2200.
