(commercialappeal.com) — A massive new mixed-use and innovation campus is planned for the former The Walk site in Downtown Memphis, with a $400 million first-phase data center and an eventual $9.4 billion buildout. 3. Home construction continues for elderly South Memphis woman (wreg.com) — An 81-year-old South Memphis woman known as “Mama” is finally seeing her new home take shape after months of delays with MLGW and city zoning. 4. Daily Jigsaw: The weevil lives! (dailymemphian.com) — Memphis readers can take pride in University of Memphis scientists who rediscovered the long-lost greater chestnut weevil, once thought extinct after chestnut blight devastated trees across the U.S. Their work inspired a local “Daily Jigsaw” puzzle featuring the tiny beetle, turning a major biological find into a bit of hometown brain-teasing fun.
