12-Year-Old Runaway Found Safe In West Nashville
Missing since Saturday, 12-year-old runaway Javontez Staten was located close to home Tuesday afternoon.
NASHVILLE, TN — A 12-year-old runaway missing since Saturday was located in his West Nashville neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.
Metro Police said Javontez Staten was in good health when he was found near Indiana Avenue. Described as a "chronic runaway," he was taken to Juvenile Court.

Staten ran away from his mother's car in downtown Nashville Saturday night. She reported him missing Sunday.
