On Thursday, Perry was stopped on Hermitage Avenue. Police say he had approximately 30 grams of heroin in his pocket. During a search of Perry’s pickup truck, detectives say they located a hidden compartment containing a loaded handgun, 95 grams of heroin, and $20,000 cash. During the subsequent search of his home, detectives seized 1.5 pounds of heroin and drug paraphernalia including scales. During a search at a second location on 11th Avenue North, detectives say they found more cash hidden in the air vents and a gun. Perry's Porsche 911, valued at $200,000, was also seized.

Perry is charged with heroin possession in a drug-free school zone, felon in possession of a gun, a crooks with guns law violation, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in lieu of $155,000 bond.
