3 Stabbed In Gulch Fight

Three people were stabbed and three others arrested after a fight in The Gulch early Wednesday morning.

NASHVILLE, TN — Three people were stabbed and three others arrested after a fight in The Gulch early Wednesday morning.

Metro Police said that a group of people who are homeless were having a party inside an abandoned building near the intersection of 11th Avenue and Grundy Street when an argument broke out around 1:10 a.m. Wednesday.

As the argument escalated, three people were stabbed. All were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where one is in critical condition and two others have serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Three suspects — two men and a woman, all of whom the police described as "train jumpers" — were located near 12th and Broadway shortly after the stabbing.

The investigation is ongoing.
