3 Teens Busted In Bordeaux Grocery Robbery
After a chase and standoff, a trio of teens were arrested by Metro Police for a Tuesday morning grocery store stick-up.

BORDEAUX, TN -- After a chase and a three-hour standoff, a trio of teenagers was arrested Tuesday, charged with a Bordeaux grocery store stick-up and stealing what ended up as their getaway car, according to Metro Police.
Around 9:45 Tuesday morning, two armed young men with their faces obscured walked into the Bordeaux Food Store on Clarksville Pike and demanded money and cartons of cigarettes. After employees turned over the cash and cigarettes, the pair ran from the store and into a waiting SUV, which police said had been previously reported stolen, and drove away with a third man behind the wheel.
Detectives said Torion Bean, 18, was the wheelman and also cased the store moments before Reggie Lyons, 18, and Chad Burke-Alexander, 17, entered the store for the actual execution of the stick-up. All three face robbery, gun possession and auto theft charges.

Investigators allege Bean drove the stolen SUV from the store to River Road and River Court, where he wrecked the car. Coincidentally, an off-duty MNPD officer lived nearby and saw the crash and the trio running from it.
A police K9 tracked the suspects to a home on Mexico Drive, prompting an hour-long stand-off, at the end of which, the teens emerged and were arrested.

During a subsequent search, police say they located stolen handguns and packs of cigarettes hidden behind a loose section of drywall.
Bean is being held in the Metro Jail in lieu of $91,500 bond. Lyonsβ bond is set at $95,000. Burke-Alexander is in juvenile detention pending a hearing.
