Metro Police responded to five shootings between Friday and Saturday night.

NASHVILLE, TN -- There were at least five separate shootings in Nashville between Friday and Saturday night, according to Metro Police.
The first in the rash of apparently unconnected shootings was 9:15 p.m. Friday at Carl's Corner, a bar on Nolensville Road near the Nashville Zoo. Police arrived to find a trail of bed and shell casings scattered across the parking lot. Witnesses reportedly told officers an long-running dispute between the staff and some patrons of the bar escalated and ended with someone firing a gun inside. One person was taken to Southern Hills Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Fifteen minutes later, a man sitting in his car in the 800 block of Bell Road was approached by a person who demanded his belongings at gunpoint. The driver tried to wrestle the gun away from the robber, but the gun went off and injured his hand.
