  1. Early morning on Sunday, Jul. 2, the Hermitage Precinct officers as well as the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) aviation unit found a reportedly missing 7-year-old girl unresponsive in a pool. The family reported that the girl had gone missing when she walked away from home around 5:40 a.m. The young girl walked through the gate of a home to attempt to swim in the eight-foot-deep end of the pool which was also near another family member’s home on Village Green Drive. 2. 21-year-old Joseph Kobe Glenn has been arrested for shooting two individuals at 6th and Broadway on Sunday, Jul. 2, around 2:30 a.m. The two victims were a 23-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl who suffered leg wounds from the incident where multiple shots were fired. According to the Nashville Metro police, this all took place due to an altercation over another woman. (Williamson Source)
  3. According to a recent report regarding Nashville Airbnbs, the revenue of Airbnb homes in the area are down by 39 percent; however, Relocation Director of RE/MAX Advantage, Jeff Checko, and Nashville Airbnb host Travers Xanthos are not sure how accurate that statement is. Checko even pointed out a different report made that shows a decline of just 2.7 percent. While there is still evidence that there may be a current decline due to homeowners looking into renting instead of buying homes, which affects the Airbnb business, there are always highs and lows, according to Xanthos.
