Adult, Teen, Child Shot In Afternoon North Nashville Drive-By

An adult, a 15-year-old and a young child were shot in a drive-by near the Cumberland View housing project Friday afternoon.

NASHVILLE, TN — Three people, including a teenager and a young child, were shot in a drive-by in North Nashville Friday afternoon.

Just before 4:30 p.m., a red car — possibly a Camry — pulled into the Cumberland View public housing development and began firing, police say.

An adult and a child, possibly 8- or 9-years-old, were grazed by bullets, while a 15-year-old was shot in buttocks. None of the injuries, including that of the teenager, are life-threatening, according to investigators.

Police are working to develop a suspect description.
