Armed Robbery Suspect In Nashville, Franklin Stick-Ups Arrested

A man wanted for at least 10 robberies in Davidson County and another in Franklin was arrested Monday.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Police arrested a 54-year-old man Monday suspected in at least 10 armed robberies in Davidson County and another in Franklin.

David Eady, 54, admitted he was the masked gunman in 10 November robberies according to police; to wit:

  • November 30, Mapco, 5040 Nolensville Pike;
  • November 25, Mapco, 3043 Nolensville Pike;
  • November 24, Mapco, 440 Harding Place;
  • November 20, Shell, 1330 Vultee Boulevard;
  • November 18, Mapco, 2601 Murfreesboro Pike;
  • November 15, Mapco, 15131 Old Hickory Boulevard;
  • November 11, Walgreens, 518 Donelson Pike;
  • November 9, CVS, 4709 Nolensville Pike;
  • November 5, Walgreens, 2819 Nolensville Pike;
  • November 2, Dollar General, 2101 8th Avenue South

Franklin Police say Eady is also responsible for a Dec. 2 robbery at the Dollar General on Columbia Avenue.

Eady has previous burglary, theft and drug possession convictions. He is being held in lieu of $61,000 bond.
