  1. The musical lineup has finally been released for the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix that will be held in downtown Nashville this summer. There will be several country stars hitting the iHeartRadio Country Stage each day of the festival — including rising country stars Tezza and Danielle Bradbery, as well as more well-known names hitting the Zyn Main Stage, including former Florida Georgia Line frontman Brian Kelly and Flo Rida headlining Saturday night. Nashville's IndyCar weekend will be full of excitement, entertainment, and great performances this coming August. You can find out more information on the festival as well as a full schedule of the weekend by clicking here. (WZTV)
  2. Marlon Deshawn Lewis was finally arrested this past Wednesday for multiple charges of violent nature that placed him on Nashville's "Top 10 Most Wanted" list earlier this year. Lewis was wanted for two different charges in 2021 and 2022; his charge in December 2021 was for attempted homicide as he reportedly assaulted and shot a woman multiple times before throwing her from the vehicle. The 2022 charge comes from an incident where he allegedly shot multiple times at his stepbrother at a Kwik Sac on Clarksville Pike because he owed Lewis money. Lewis is currently being held in the Metro jail on multiple different violent charges and is being held on a bond of $510,000. (WKRN News 2)
  3. For the fourth time, Nashville's very own Chad Greer was named a Community Service Award winner and will be receiving a $15,000 grant that will be going to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. Greer is a partner and wealth management advisor at Northwestern Mutual and has donated more than $100,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters since his first time winning the Community Service Award in 2013.
