Bordeaux Shooting Critically Injures 1

BORDEAUX, TN -- A man is in critical condition after he was shot in the chest outside a Bordeaux apartment complex Tuesday night.

Metro Police say the man was sitting in his car outside the Outlook Ridge apartments on Buena Vista Pike around 10 p.m. Tuesday when he was shot by a man who then fled the scene in a silver 2005 Ford Mustang.

Investigators have little in the way of a suspect description, beyond that the shooter was a black man and the Mustang was driven by a black woman.

The victim is at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
