Bubbles And Baubles: Man Steals Beer And Jewelry, Police Say
A man broke into a pizza joint to steal some drinks and a nearby jeweler to steal a lot more than that, Nashville police say.

NASHVILLE, TN — A man broke into a North Nashville pizza joint and stole some drinks before moving on to a nearby jeweler and stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise, according to Metro Police.
Investigators say just before 1:30 a.m., the suspect, who's not yet been identified, smashed through the back door of Slim and Husky's Pizza Beeria at Buchanan and 10th, stealing some drinks and attempting to steal money, although there was none in the cash drawer.
Shortly thereafter, the suspect smashed the back door of Consider the Wldflwrs, a jewelry store about 350 feet away at Buchanan and Ninth.

Police said the man stole thousands of dollars in merchandise from the store, though it was all recovered. Alarms sounded at both locations and the alleged burglar was spotted in a parking lot and arrested.
