Child Pulled Unconscious From Swimming Pool At Nashville Apartment Complex Has Died

The 12-year-old boy who was pulled unconscious from a swimming pool Tuesday night at the Berkley Hills Apartments, 300 Berkley Drive, has died.

Demarious Harris-Evans was playing with three friends in the pool when the other children noticed him under water in the deep end. They pulled him out. None of the children lived at the apartment complex and there were no adults present.

Harris-Evans was transported to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital where he died today. His death appears to have been accidental.
