Couple Dead In Apparent Bordeaux Murder-Suicide

BORDEAUX, TN -- A man and a woman are dead in an apparent murder-suicide in Bordeaux, according to Metro Police.

Investigators said the bodies of Virgil Taylor, 50, and his long-time girlfriend Latasha Booker, 43, were discovered by a family member around 6 p.m. Sunday who had gone to the couple's Cliff Drive home. The relative told Metro Police Taylor and Booker had been arguing earlier in the day.

Both were found with gunshot wounds to the head. Booker was pronounced dead at the home and Taylor died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Detectives said a pistol was found near Taylor's body.
