Ex-Con Robs Nashville Bank, Is Almost Immediately Arrested: MNPD
A 49-year-old man previously convicted for a Nashville bank robbery was arrested an hour after allegedly robbing another bank.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Police arrested a man less than an hour after he allegedly robbed a West Nashville bank.
Investigators say Ronald Edmondson, 49, entered the Fifth Third Bank branch at Charlotte Pike and White Bridge Road at 1:15 Tuesday afternoon and demanded money. He was spotted shortly thereafter in a parking lot on Morrow Road and was then pulled over underneath the Interstate 40 overpass in a black Toyota Avalon.
Police say they found the money from the robbery inside the car and arrested Edmondson for the robbery.

Edmondson was convicted for robbing a Nashville bank in December 2009 and served a stint in federal prison for the crime.
