Hidden items connected to a previous jail scheme orchestrated by criminal justice advocate Alex Friedmann have been discovered in the Nashville detention center, several years after the incident took place. The items, including loaded guns, ammunition, a makeshift uniform, black shoes, handcuff keys, and cash, were found in a non-secure area of the Davidson County Sheriff's Office Downtown Detention Center. Friedmann is currently serving a 40-year prison sentence for his involvement in the scheme.
